Private Chef Service
Dinner Parties
Chef Gene's fee is $70 per hour, which includes all planning, shopping, preparation and on-site service. The cost of groceries is not included and will vary, depending on the menu you select. Chef Gene will provide you with an estimate of all costs at the time of booking your dinner party.
For dinner parties of 8 or more guests, a superb wait staff person and/or bartender is available for $30 per hour with a five-hour minimum.
We are happy to travel outside the greater Los Angeles area, but at an additional cost of one-hour's time.
Romantic Dinner For Two
Chef Gene charges a flat fee of $250 for an intimate and romantic four-course menu for two, which includes Chef Gene's services, all groceries and kitchen clean-up.
Extra courses or changes can be made at a small additional fee.
Hors D'oeuvres and Cocktail Parties
Chef Gene will create unique, hand-crafted hors d'oeuvres for a cocktail party of any number of guests on a per-plate basis. Total costs are estimated on a per person basis, which includes all catering services, and will vary depending on the menu and the number of appetizers you select. Click here for more information.
Large Parties, Wedding Receptions and Other Functions
The price for a party of 20 or more guests will depend on the menu selection, the overall cost of groceries and how many wait staff you want to attend to your guests.

Personal Chef Service
Chef Gene's personal chef service includes grocery shopping, meal preparation of entrees and side dishes, labeling and packaging with easy reheat instructions. Depending on the current market price of meat, fish and produce items, a dinner for two can cost as little as $40!
Please note that there is a one-time-only set up fee of $50, which covers packaging. Soup, dessert or additional side dishes are available at an additional charge.
